Health and Safety is a core value and therefore our top priority is to ensure that everyone working on behalf of the company goes home uninjured at the end of the day having caused no harm to the environment. Everybody has a responsibility to lead by example and take actions to ensure our operations are incident free. Each individual must make sure their own actions are safe and they must stop and challenge anyone they see acting in an unsafe way.

Effective operations are also safe operations. Both are good for our commercial success. Doing things the right way, even when nobody is watching, is part of our culture. Conducting open and honest investigations when things go wrong is a vital part of making sure we get better and better. Recognising when things go well and sharing our successes is an important part of achieving excellence across the whole company.

Our leaders make sure there is integrity throughout our operations and that we have the right people, the right equipment which is maintained correctly and the right materials in the right place at the right time to achieve it.
